Knocked-out tooth

If you have lost a permanent adult tooth, attempt to reinsert the tooth into the socket. . Prior to reinserting the tooth rinse off with water, but do not wipe the tooth prior to reinserting. If you are unable to, keep the tooth moist in a small container of milk, salted water, or tooth preservative (such as “Save-a-tooth”). See your dentist as soon as possible for the best chance of having the tooth returned to its socket.

Chipped or Broken Tooth

For chipped or broken teeth, keep any pieces of the tooth and rinse your mouth with warm water. Use a cold compress to reduce any swelling.

Toothache

If you are experiencing a toothache, rinse your mouth with warm water and floss around the affected teeth to dislodge any stuck food. Use a cold compress on your cheek to help alleviate pain and swelling and use over-the-counter pain reliever.

Lost Filling
